How can I get my first auto loan?

I am looking to get an auto loan for about 12,000-15,000 i plan on putting 2,000 down, the only thing i have on my credit card and some medical bills from the past that have been paid in full(states so on my credit report), I also JUST bought a house this past week and my credit report has been pulled alot.I will also be having a co-signer(the other person to sign with me on the house) I also had a judgement that was paid in full and i have all the papers that state this as well. I am wondering which kind of dealership i could go to and what my chances are of getting an auto loan will be? I hate to pull my credit report agian just to get denied!
